Nature & Heritage
The “Haute-Meuse valley” offers a preserved face, unique on the Belgian course of the river, where the visitor can still walk in symbiosis with the watercourse, in a bucolic natural setting rich in plant and animal species, often protected.
In this natural setting, charming villages and several major cultural sites flourish: the castle of Freÿr, the Priory of Anseremme and of course the unmissable Citadel of Dinant. These beautiful buildings stand out against the green monochrome of the deep forests on its slopes.
